Introduction
BustleUp is a platform that connects users with local service professionals such as handymen, cleaners, and repair technicians, making it easier to find and book trusted services on demand.
As the Product Designer, I designed the customer interface, service provider workflows, and admin dashboard, ensuring a seamless experience across all users while simplifying booking, communication, and service management.
Challenge
Local service marketplaces often struggle with trust, accessibility, and workflow clarity. Key challenges included:
Designing distinct experiences for customers, service providers, and admins
Building a seamless booking flow that reduces friction and confusion

Research & Insight
I analyzed existing service marketplaces, studied booking behavior, and observed challenges faced by both users and service providers.
Key insights:
Users want simple ways to discover, book, and review local service providers
Providers need efficient workflows for accepting jobs and tracking requests
Trust is built through clear profiles, reviews, and transparent communication
Admins require dashboards to monitor platform health and activity
Mobile-first experiences are essential for adoption in local markets
